Dr. Joseph Kline Department Chair jkline@scad.edu Joseph Kline, Ph.D. has worked in theatre, film and television for the past twenty-five years. He has acted and directed in regional theatre productions, most notably the Denver Center, the Folger Shakespeare theatre, the Maryland Shakespeare Festival and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. For three years he served as the playwright-in-residence at Barter Theatre, the State Theatre of Virginia. Dr. Kline holds a B.A from Colorado State University, a M.F.A. from the Catholic University of America and his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University. He is a member of Actors’ Equity Association, the Screen Actors Guild and the Dramatists Guild. His areas of expertise include dramatic literature, arts administration and performance.
